Funguys Swarm Beginner Guide

Funguys Swarm is a top-down survivor bullet hell: your Funguy auto-attacks and you move to survive waves of the Fire King's army. In your first hour, pick the Big Pea Shooter, learn your position stance, and farm Water Dew to unlock upgrades.
Your First Hour
Pick the Big Pea Shooter from the Mecha Shop. Run the Carrot Farm arena to learn the flow: enemies spawn in waves, your Funguy auto-attacks, and you dodge telegraphed lunges.
Collect Water Dew and Shrooms from every kill - they fund your first Sanctuary upgrades and weapon unlocks.
Positioning Is Everything
Unlike most survivors, you can set a stance. Aggressive pushes into the swarm for faster kills (risky), Defensive keeps you safe, Passive lets the auto-attack choose. Switch stance based on the enemy type - defensive for Volcana and fire enemies, aggressive for small fry.

FAQ
What is the best starting weapon in Funguys Swarm?
The Big Pea Shooter (Mecha Shop primary) is the safest first pick - rapid-fire projectiles work in every arena until you unlock the Garlic Hammer.
How do I get more Water Dew and Shrooms?
They drop from defeated enemies in every arena. Re-running the easier Carrot Farm arena is the fastest way to farm them for Sanctuary unlocks.
Can I change my weapon mid-run?
No - your weapon is locked when you pick it before a run. You can only swap at the Mecha Shop in the Sanctuary between runs.
How do the Aggressive / Defensive / Passive stances work?
They set how close your Funguy fights. Aggressive pushes into enemies for more hits, Defensive keeps distance, Passive lets the auto-attack pick targets.
